Astro Pi and Principia
Astro Pi is GO!
The competition has started
The starting claxon was sounded on Friday at Bett 2015, when the CEO of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, Lance Howarth, presented the challenge to a packed audience in the main arena.  His presentation included a fantastic video from Tim Peake, which explains all about the competition, and could be used to introduce the competition to you class or group.

Primary School
Those of you who are working with primary school aged children can now head to www.astro-pi.org and register your details. We’ll email you your own entry form, which you can then print out as many copies as you like, one for each entrant/team. The rest of the form should be filled with a summary and description of the idea for Astro Pi. Completed entries will need to be posted back to the address on form.
Secondary School
The secondary school entry system will all be online, but it is not yet live. We will let you know when it up and running. Entrants will be able to submit their ideas via an online form at www.astro-pi.org. The entrants will need their ideas in electronic form (such as .doc or .pdf files) and details of their responsible adult. An email confirming the submission will go back to the responsible adult. We are very sorry that this system is not yet online. Read more.
